Blog Update!
Well it's that time of year again...it's a whole new year! And with that comes goals. Some will think about broadening their social circles, others will shed that holiday weight, but me? I'm here for movies, because that's all that matters. In this new year circa 2018 in the new calendar, I hereby declare my resolution to be...
- Working on my blog once a week. I will keep myself motivated and limit my posts to once per week so that I wont exhaust myself or need a break and am not in the mood. With this I hope to stay consistent and upbeat (unless the film sucks).
- Lists! I won't do these that often, but with the new year I will be putting up two important lists. I'm taking this week to catch up on a few important movies that I have to see and next week will be my unveiling of my personal top 10 2017 films.
- Disney! I love Disney. Not much to say other than that except I'll be going over and reviewing, and ranking, every theatrical Disney animated film. It's a big project I've put myself in for this year, so I'm going to release them weekly, with each week covering a decade in Disney magic. I'll be ranking each film at the end of each post so my rankings will be constantly shifting week to week. This will either start next week or the one after.
- Lastly, I plan to watch more foreign movies. My goal is to review at least one foreign movie each month. I've always loved watching foreign films, and some of them are in my all time favorite list! However, lately I've been coming to understand that I've only tasted but a tad of the great ocean of foreign films out there, so this is my chance to enjoy them while also promoting them. So, if you have any favorite foreign films don't be afraid to shout them out in the comments because I'm definitely going to need a list.
Well, those are my goals for this blog in the new year. I know my attention to this had been spotty over 2017, and hopefully with this I'll change that. Look forward to fun content, and remember, comments are our friends.
